Harvest Festival
Thu 24 Oct 2019Children from Year 1 to Year 6 put in three wonderful performances at our Harvest Festivals this week. The theme for this year was based around the song Pears and Apples and Key Stage 2 classes picked up on the different themes around harvest of food and the Earth's resources. Year 1 performed a choral poem about Autumn and Year 2 did a Harvest chant - Choppity Chop. Our School Singing Squad and Orchestra also performed. Keith Revell was our guest speaker from the Rainbow Centre and as well as speaking about the work of the Rainbow Centre he thanked all of our families for their generous donations of food and essential resources. We are very grateful for the donations of money as we raised £144 which is more than the £90 collected a year ago.
THANK YOU for all your support this year.

Tue 22 Oct 2019It was wonderful to see our Year 3 class grow in numbers this morning as parents, carers and grandparents joined in for some lessons. Miss Phipps organised this first Stay and Learn session for families to find out more about how we learn our spellings and handwriting.
Thanks to all the families who were able to support this morning and work with their child/grandchild in class.
