Investigating Numbers
Year 4 have been investigating different ways of dividing 100.
They also wanted to know what a thousand looks like, so we began counting our fingers and thumbs... first in 1s, then 10s, then 100s, until (with the help of some extra people from other classes) we had made a line of 1000 fingers. It stretched right across the length of our playground.
