The school orchestra, under the leadership of Mrs Julie Alder, meets each Wednesday afternoon from 3.10 – 4.15pm. Presently, the orchestra is not running following the pandemic but we hope to restart this club in the Autumn term 2022. Usually, we have around 18 children and some school staff playing instruments ranging from recorders to saxophones and flutes to violins.

We play a variety of music including James Bond themes, traditional pieces such as 'Autumn' by Vivaldi and some fun tunes like 'Star Wars' theme. The school orchestra plays at many school events during the year including the Summer Concert when we combine with the Singing Squad and drama groups to put on an evening of musical entertainment for parents and friends.
