    1st place - Cornelian with 1562 points

2nd place- Holbeck with 1493 points

    3rd place - Deepdale with 1326 points

    4th place - Seaview with 1227 points

Once again, thanks to all the families and friends that came to support our Sports Days this week and to the PTA for providing refreshments.

  • Wheatcroft win Town Hall Debate

    Wed 20 Jun 2018 Headteacher

A group of Year 6 pupils represented Wheatcroft at the Town Hall in a schools research project about commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War.

The schools presented their projects to the Mayor of Scarborough and cabinet officers in the council chamber.  The children also had opportunity to ask the Cabinet members questions.  The schools and councillors then voted for the best presentation and Paddy in the Morning announced that Wheatcroft were the winners!  It is the first time the school has won this unique competition and the team of Sam, Ben, Coby, Amber, Ashley and Ruby were presented with the trophy and certificates, chocolates and Alpamare tickets!  Their interview with Paddy will be broadcast tomorrow morning at 7.45am.

Congratulations to all our pupils on their amazing performance.

  • Police visit to Class 1

    Mon 04 Jun 2018 Headteacher

Police officers Matt and Ian visited Class 1 on Monday afternoon to do a talk about safeguarding themselves on the roads and stranger danger.

As you can see from the photographs, the children had great fun looking round the police van and trying on the uniforms!  Year 1 pupils have a lot of growing to do before the uniforms will fit them!
