In Class 5 this year, we have so many things to look forward to including some amazing topics and opportunities to learn outside the classroom through our off site trips as well as visitors to school.
As we have now moved into the upper part of the juniors, we must remember that we are all now role models for the other children in the school and show positive behaviour and attitudes in everything we do. We should always strive hard to try and be good citizens through our manners and enthusiasm for learning and improving.
Mr Levett is our teacher and Mrs Hillion will also be teaching the class for an afternoon every week.
We are also supported in class by Mrs Ellard and Mrs Silby.
During the Spring term, Year 5 PE sessions will be on a Tuesday morning, in the form of swimming, and on a Friday afternoon. Children are encouraged to keep their PE kits in school in case of unexpected changes to the timetable or if we do additional PE.
There are many exciting things happening this half-term, with the Year 5 children being lucky enough to be visited by the musician Snake Davis. In addition to this, some of the Year 5 children will be heading on the bi-annual trip to France, with those who are staying enjoying lots of French enrichment activities.
