Wind in the Willows theatre visit
Thu 23 Nov 2017The whole school thoroughly enjoyed the Image Musical Theatre visit and their version of Wind in the Willows. As always, the musical involved all the children participating with their singing and some were selected in acting parts.

Bluebells class and the parachute

Yorkshire Coast Radio recording
Wed 22 Nov 2017We were delighted to welcome Yorkshire Coast Radio's Paddy in the Morning to school this afternoon to record all our Key Stage 2 pupils singing a special Christmas verse which will be broadcast on Christmas Eve. The song is One more sleep to go!
Paddy also videoed the children singing and families should be able to find the clips on the Yorkshire Coast Radio website.

BBC Children In Need Day 2017
Fri 17 Nov 2017The whole school have come dressed up in their sports gear to celebrate BBC Children in Need 2017 and we began the day with everyone dancing to a Children in Need medley led by our own Darcy Bussell!
Some pupils and staff came as a particular sports star or to represent a particular sport and we had an amazing array of sports including:
netball, basketball, football, rugby, athletics, marathon running, jogging, walking, dancing, squash, tennis, gymnastics, wrestling, karate, judo, kick boxing, golf, volleyball, skiing, ice skating, roller skating and diving.
I will update the website with the total amount raised.
