A big well done to all the Year 5 and 6 footballers yesterday who took part in friendly matches against St Martins and Gladstone Road. Some good football was demonstrated and resilience was shown to keep battling to the end of their games (even if the score line wasn’t going in their favour). The members of staff from the other schools commented on how impressed they were with Wheatcroft children.
