Paul "Tiny" Sturgess is a former Harlem Globetrotter and is Britain’s tallest man, wearing size 19 shoes. He joined us at Wheatcroft to run basketball skills workshops for all the classes and to talk about his life and career. The children listened intently in assembly and 4 volunteers joined Paul to learn some tricks and form the famous Globetrotters circle! It was great to see all the children practising the skills across the day and we have high hopes for the school basketball team!
