Courage

We have said goodbye to September and completed our first four weeks of the Autumn term.

This week, we have been thinking about courage, one of our Wheatcroft character traits. We encourage all our pupils to try new things and overcome challenges whether in a lesson or at playtimes or joining a club.
Our Year 6 pupils have achieved some of the hardest challenges they will face in primary school during their residential visit to East Barnby this week. I have loved seeing how courageous and resilient these children have been over the three days away from school and the courage they demonstrated doing beck scrambling, sledging, canoeing, shelter building and learning how vital teamwork is in life. A big well done to the Year 6 pupils and staff!
We have also learnt how important sleep and rest is so I wish all our families a peaceful weekend!
