Home/School Communication at Wheatcroft is a vital part of supporting your child.

We use different communication systems including:

email, ClassDojo, phone calls, our school website as well as face to face updates with staff.

If you have a question, message or otherwise need to contact school, this should always be done via phone in the first instance and our Office Team will be delighted to help you.

ClassDojo is a free school communication app which all Wheatcroft families can sign up for. When your child starts school, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for this communication method.  All you need is an email address and an electronic device (smart phone, PC, laptop, tablet/ipad) to download the app onto. 

Every week, class teachers update parent/carers about what has been happening in the class that week and what is planned for next week.  We also share photographs, videos and celebrate pupil achievement in their work.  The information is only shared with our school families and is a great way for you to stay in touch with your child's progress at Wheatcroft. In addition, the school feed section also has weekly updates from the Headteacher as well as letters etc from the school office.

The school website has lots of information on about the school and the class pages will keep you updated on timetables, learning/topics and visits.
