In Class 5 this year, we have so many things to look forward to including some amazing topics and opportunities to learn outside the classroom through our off site trips as well as visitors to school.
As we have now moved into the upper part of the juniors, we must remember that we are all now role models for the other children in the school and show positive behaviour and attitudes in everything we do. We should always strive hard to try and be good citizens through our manners and enthusiasm for learning and improving.
Mr Taylor is our teacher and Mrs Kirby will be teaching the class on a Monday. Mrs Hillion will also be teaching the class for an afternoon every week.
We are also supported in class by Mrs McGlinchey, Mrs Silby, Miss Oliver and Miss Wilson.
On Mondays, Year 5 have a P.E session with Mrs Kirby and on Fridays, we are lucky enough to be taught Zumba by Mrs Sweeney-Chisholm so please ensure the children have your P.E kits in school throughout the week for any unexpected changes to the timetable.
For our science work, and topic work on volcanoes, we are in need of many materials. If you can find/salvage any of the following, could they be donated for our learning? Many thanks
