Meet the Team!
 

There is lots to look forward to this year - new topics, new skills and new adventures. Mr Sleightholme is the class teacher this year and Mrs Potts and Mrs McGlinchey will be supporting the learning each day. Mr Collins will teach the children on Friday afternoon.

This will be a really great year and we want you to make the most of it.  Being a year 5 pupil comes with great responsibilities. You must set the highest standards of behaviour at all times and have a determined work ethic.  This year, developing independence and resilience will be especially key in everything we do.  In return, we will be having lots of fun in our learning.  Make the most of every opportunity....and enjoy this special year.  

PE will be on Tuesdays and Fridays - please bring appropriate kit for the varying weather conditions.

Our school council representatives ensure the thoughts and opinions of Year 5 are listened to and shared at school council meetings.

Things to remember every day!

• Water Bottle (named)
• Coat (+ hat and gloves for bad weather!)
• Packed Lunch if not having a school dinner
• Reading folder - book and record!
• PE kit (Tuesdays & Fridays)
• Library book
