Bluebells Class Lead Our School’s Remembrance Reflection
11th November 2025...... The school community comes together to mark Remembrance Day with respect, gratitude and quiet reflection.
On Friday, our school community came together to mark Remembrance Day with respect, gratitude and quiet reflection. As part of our commemorations, Bluebells Class created beautiful hand-painted poppy artwork, which they proudly displayed during our whole-school two-minute silence.
The children learned about the importance of remembrance, why we wear poppies, and the significance of honouring those who gave so much so that we can live in peace today.
We are also incredibly proud to share that our school raised £166 for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. Thank you to every family who contributed—your generosity supports an important cause and helps veterans and their families across the country.
Well done to Bluebells Class for leading our remembrance activities with such respect and maturity. Their poppy display was a powerful reminder of the meaning behind this special day.
