Over this half term, it has been great to have different groups of pupils come forward with ideas for fund raising for particular charities or world situations. I am delighted to see our school motto 'Learn and Care' put into action and support our school driver of Caring Community.
Earlier in the term, some Year 4 pupils organised a cake stall and jumble sale for raising funds for a school in Zambia and managed to raise £111.70 (see photos).
Today, a group of Year 5 pupils decided to fund raise for Cancer research and raised over £61 (see photos). Congratulations to those pupils for organising these events independently.
After half term, a group of Year 3 pupils are hoping to raise some money to support the sad situation of Syrian refugees.
Thanks to all our families for supporting these events and being so generous.
