As part of our science topic this term we went on a trip to Manor Road Nursery. Helen showed us all around the nursery and explained how they grow the plants from seed. These will be the plants that can be seen decorating roundabouts and other locations in Scarborough. The children even had the opportunity to plant their own seedlings. These flowers will have a large golden head and are called Rudbeckia Toto Gold. Everyone enjoyed looking at the large variety of plants and were amazed that the nursery grows a quarter of a million plants a year.
